What most listeners probably haven't spent much time pondering is that soul's place in the universe. On his adventurous new album, In The Key Of The Universe, the master organist turns his musical attentions to his spiritual side, tapping into a strain of metaphysical jazz that's fueled sonic searchers for more than half a century. Joey D calls upon disciples and missionaries of jazz to join him in paving the way to enlightenment. In The Key Of The Universe arrives almost exactly 50 years after the release of Karma, the landmark album by legendary saxophonist Pharoah Sanders. One of the primary exponents of spiritually-oriented jazz, Sanders makes three guest appearances on the album, including an update of his best-known track from Karma, the cosmically influential "The Creator Has A Master Plan." Playing drums on that track was the great Billy Hart, who reunites with Sanders as well as DeFrancesco, with whom he's worked several times over the years since joining the organist for his 1989 album Where Were You?

Stretch out, size down but love the shorts.

Love these shorts. My favorites ever. I always always wear a size 8 in shorts. The 8 fit initially, but stretched out so much, I didn’t have to unbutton them to get them out. I bought 3 colors. I finally bought one in a size 6. Perfect fit, even if they do stretch a little. Returning the unworn ones, and replacing with size 6.

Love these shorts.

Five inch for a great mom fit. Cute button closures for the pockets on the back, nice deep pockets. It’s hard to see in the video because they are black but they are the comfiest shorts. True to size. I’m a size 3-4 and the 4 fits perfect…. Even after washing and drying.

Wow great quality!!! You get what you pay for that’s for sure!! The fabric is heavy-ish-indicative of quality fabric. Fit is spot on. I’m a barely size 10 (5’6” 160 lbs) and these shorts deliver!! The stretch is just perfect enough for comfort. Excited to wear these next summer!! Will watch for more sales so I can grab a couple more pairs. If you’re on the fence, get them!!

Love!
Size: 10, Color: Sailors Red
The quality is excellent. They are more of a faded red. I ordered a 10 worried they might be snug but that was a mistake. I should have stuck with my normal size 8. (I purchased an Amazon brand of this style that runs small and the size 10 feels more like an 8.) I love the length-not too short and not too long. They are sturdy cotton. There is not any stretch to the fabric. I’m giving them to a friend. I actually tried to shrink them by washing them in hot water and hot dryer but it didn’t make them fit me any better. Since they were already too big, I can’t really say if they shrunk by doing this. They weren’t huge on me before washing and seemed to fit the same way after. I tried wearing them all day and they seemed to loosen up even further. I was continuously pulling them up. I really feel like the sizing is accurate and you can be pretty confident of ordering your regular size. I’ve already reordered the size 8. I’ll update my review if there any issues with that size.
